No Boot Deserves To Get The Boot!

What kind of boots do you have? What kind of boots do you want? Here is a quick guide to different types of boots:
· Hiking boots – these are necessary for any extended hikes. Hiking boots help prevent the wearer from rolling his or her ankle. They are also sturdy with excellent soles.
· Ankle boots – these are fun and sassy boots that look great with form-fitting pants.
· Knee high boots – wear knee high boots with short skirts or jeans.
· Thigh high boots – thigh highs are a kinky sort of boot that looks as great in the bedroom as they do on the street!
· Hip boots – so, if thigh high boots are sexier than knee high boots, then logic follows that hip boots are sexier than thigh highs, right? Wrong. Hip boots are actually commonly known as “waders,” and they are typically worn by river fisherman. These cover the fisherman’s legs, all the way up to his or her waist, allowing him or her to wade out into streams and to find better fishing spots.
· Go-go boots – these were made to be worn dancing. Classic go-go boots tend to be white. Many think of go-go boots as a form of female empowerment.
· Steel-toe boots – these boots can make a great fashion statement, but really they are mostly worn by those who work jobs where there is the risk of dropping something heavy onto their feet!
· Ugg boots – these sheepskin boots have recently become extremely popular. People all over the US wear these year round!
· Ski boots and snowboard boots – without these boots, you will not be able to make it down the ski hill. You need to have proper, well-fitting boots to ski or snowboard at your best level.
· Cowboy boots – no list of boots is complete without mentioning America’s favorite boot, the cowboy boot. Once upon a time, cowboy boots were only worn by true cowboys, but now you can see them trodding up and down city sidewalks, as well. Normally, cowboy boots are made from cowhide leather, but you can find ones made out of other skins like alligator, eel, buffalo, ostrich, lizard, and elk skin, etc.
· Combat boots – these lace-up military boots have found their way out of the military and have become a part of a youthful fashion. They are popular in subcultures like punk, skinhead, goth, and heavy metal, etc.
As you can likely tell by this list, there are many types of boots out there! In fact, this list hardly begins to cover them all. So, if you are looking to make a fashion statement, why not consider a different sort of boot? There are rigger boots, logger boots, lineman boots, wedge boots, spats, motorcycle boots, football boots, riding boots, Wellington boots, galoshes, and so many other types of boots available in the world!
Why stick with just one sort of boot? Many boots are made with a specific purpose in mind (i.e. ski boots), but that does not mean that you cannot cross them over into a basic new line of fashion (i.e. wearing work boots with a skirt.)
Have fun with your boots!
