Women's Boots are Something Worth Falling Head-Over-Platform-Heels For

Every woman should own – rather, she deserves to own – at least one pair of boots. Of course, for many women, one pair is not enough! Once you see how a pair of boots can add style to practically any outfit, you are going to want to wear them with every outfit!

The question for most women these days is not whether or not to buy a pair of boots, but which boots should she buy. It seems like a simple enough question to answer, but in reality, there are so many different types and styles of women’s boots to choose from that the choice can oftentimes be overwhelming.

A woman must decide between cowboy boots, knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, ankle boots, and other styles. And as if this decision is not enough, she must then decide whether or not she wants platform heels, stiletto heels, flats, rubber soles, leather soles, or anything else. She must also decide between leather, vinyl, pleather, fur, knit, and other materials for her fashion boots.

One would think that after making all of these decisions she would be done. In truth, though, she still must decide whether she wants lace-up boots, zippered boots, pull on boots, buckled boots, etc. Beyond these decisions, she must still choose which color and make other such decisions, as well!

Fortunately, the decision as to which pair of women’s boots to buy is not usually so meticulous. Yes, there are multiple options out there as to which style of boot to get, but most women do not have to consciously think about each aspect. Rather, most of us see a pair of boots, fall in love with them, and buy them.

In fact, you may be totally unprepared as to which boots you end up falling in love with. You may fall in love with a pair of ankle boots when you were really searching for thigh high boots. Or you may fall head over platform heels for a pair of go go boots when you thought you wanted a pair of cowboy boots.

For the most part, the biggest problem when shopping for a pair of women’s boots occurs when a woman happens to fall in love with a pair of boots that are too expensive. It is like falling in love with Tom Cruise – he is, quite simply, out of our reach. Luckily, though, there is that man down the street with the Tom Cruise smile, and he is a pretty good second-best! Similarly, there is always that other pair of boots that may not be the first on your list, but they easily could become your favorite pair of footwear, nonetheless.
